LNG
Vitol has been at the forefront of the LNG market for over 20 years. We’re a trusted long-term partner with term contracts, shipping and infrastructure across all major markets. Our fleet of modern LNG bunkering vessels enables us to expand our provision of multi-fuel decarbonisation solutions for our global customers.

Tankers
Our well established tanker division operates as a vital component of Vitol’s global energy supply chain, specialising in the efficient and reliable transportation of crude oil, and refined products. With a commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence, VIS Tankers leverages a modern and versatile owned fleet, along with a substantial chartered in fleet from established and respected shipowners to connect supply with demand across the globe.

LPG
Handling an average of 10mMT LPG each year, we provide a broad range of bespoke logistical solutions to customers worldwide including; floating storage, large and small seagoing cargoes, barges, and RCT trains. Our infrastructure – including LPG terminals in Antwerp and Lagos – is complemented by the fleet of 25 vessels that we operate globally.

Dry bulk
The VIS Dry Bulk business is dedicated to the seamless and efficient transportation of essential commodities such as coal, grains, ores, and other dry bulk materials. With a newly emerging metals division to add to the dry portfolio, there is multisector expertise across the ship classes. Our aim is to provide innovative shipping solutions across the commodity spectrum.

Bitumen
As an established bitumen supplier with a global network of energy, industrial and other customers we offer specialised logistical solutions including; access to global network of terminals and infrastructure, transportation of parcel sizes from 5,000 tonnes to 34,000 tonnes, network access for unconventional deliveries: bags, ISO containers, trucks, drums and more.

Bunkering
V-Bunkers are an experienced bunker craft owner, manager and operator, safely and reliably delivering quality marine fuels. Currently, owners and operators of around 20 bunker tankers, including 2 with electric hybrid notation and a further LNG dual fuelled tanker. Visit their website to read more.

Dedicated technical and operational teams
We take pride in our technical management expertise. Through our in-house technical management subsidiary, LSC SIA, we manage a diverse fleet of over 40 tankers, ranging from crude and product tankers to specialised vessels, including bitumen tankers and gas carriers.
Commercially astute ex-sea farers oversee vessel operations with a unique team of captains and chief engineers, some of whom have sailed on our vessels. Furthermore, we have ongoing evaluation projects allowing us to extensively analyse energy saving technologies and onboard efficiencies to reduce our carbon footprint.

We have an extensive dry dock programme underway to retrofit the most appropriate emissions-reducing solutions for each vessel. These include, anti-fouling paint and propeller improvements.
Systems
Our dry dock programme complements the sensor-based technologies that we are implementing onboard our vessels, such as voyage optimisation and weather routing, and internet connectivity on all vessels.
Future technologies
Whilst we’re continually improving our fleet using solutions available now, we’re also working with specialist partners to explore future technologies to ensure we keep our customers ahead of the regulatory curve. These include; wind assisted propulsion, air lubrication and carbon capture.
Future fuels
While we currently offer biofuels from B24 up to possible B100 depending on customer requirements and LNG, we continue to invest in future fuels, supporting customers to meet their emissions obligations with the fuel that best suits their needs.
